Arab revulsions and revolutions

So Egypt is free. Well almost, free from a tyrant and dictator. However, there is a long way to go. Egypt is of integral interest to us outsiders. Not only because of the march of the Israelis about their security. They'll be fine. Actually on second thoughts they are surrounded by arab muslims lands and the people are rather angry. Maybe they should be paranoid.

If you put a living breathing creature in a corner he will attack. What we have seen in Tunisia, Egypt and now Bahrain, Libya, Morroco, Algeria, Yemen and probably some more to come is a mass revulsion at their poverty and the misrepresentations of their govts. The basic rule is that govts are supposed to represent the will of the people. In practise that barely works in the west but the way it works in arab lands is like this.

'So you want freedom?'
'yes'
'I can get you some dog turd and a jail'
'what?'
'too late, here's shit on your face'

But the most amazing things about all these revolutions and especially the Egytian revolutions is that they were peaceful, secular revolutions that were held in a very disciplined way. Not the stereotype that the BBC et all tried to keep bashing at. Kind of like this

muslims = frothing in the mouth, anti semitic shariah implementers

It simply wasn't true. Hell, the muslim brotherhood weren't aware of any revolution until the young people organised it themselves.

Also, something that bothers me, the majority of egptians are poor people. They say this was a social network revolution. These people haven't got access to clean water where the hell did they get access to the internet!

Anyway, I am extremely happy. Why you ask as I am not arab. I am happy because the west and israel should capitalise on this and not try to uphold dictatorships and tyrants and then hyprocritically talk about 'freedom' and 'human rights'. Progression in the middle east and proper democracy for the people and from the people should be a long term goal of the USA/Israel interests as it will benefit them and will secure their future. This paragraph is very important. As soon as a people feel helpless that they can't change anything, they will resort to 'other' means. It's human nature.

Oh and mark my words, muslim brotherhood or any other militant aspect of islam have no danger of coming in power in the arab lands. They might get a few seats. But that's the price you pay for a truly free country. The arab people know that pluralism is the answer. They've had too many 9/11s' of their own.

Grooming White Women.

Last week Jack Straw MP(to your left) provoked controversy with comments made on Newsnight about Pakistani men. He said "there is a specific problem which involves Pakistani heritage men ... who target vulnerable young white girls."His comments came after two men of Pakistani origin were convicted of rape in Derby.

Just to remind you guys this is also the same guy who in October 2006 Straw attracted controversy by suggesting to a local newspaper, The Lancashire Evening Telegraph (now The Lancashire Telegraph), that muslim women who wear veils that cover their faces (the niqab) can inhibit inter-community relations, though he denied the issue was raised for political gain, stating that he had raised it in private circles in the past and it had never progressed beyond discussions.

Immediately after this there is a media storm over Pakistan men and grooming white women. Connatations pervading to the fact it is Islam that encourages this. By this simple equation I shall show how this works in the mind of the 'silent majority'.

p + a + k + i = grooming
where;
p= perverted
a= armed
k=killing
i= idiot

Now, in all seriousness, dispropitionally, the majority of sex crimes are done by white people. 80% of sexual crime is done by white men. The latest year for which we have data, Lancashire police arrested 627 people for sexual offences. 0.3% of these were Pakistanis. That’s two people. 85.5% were white British. In Lancashire, there are 1,296,900 white Brits and 45,000 Pakistanis. This means that 4.163 per 10,000 white Brits were arrested for a sex crime, compared to 0.44 Pakistanis

So what does all this mean? Do asian men more specifically pakistani men according the giant phallic being that is Atma Singh view white women as 'easy prey'. If that's the case, then I think all men do. The sexualisation of society all round the world has objectified women. There doesn't seem to be respect for women, as a man I have noticed that other men regardless of race or creed view the 'liberated' woman as something that would give her a good time, or look good with him like a Primark accessory. It's sad but in my opinion true.

With the above in light, it seems irresponsible to label an already marginalised and deeply maligned minority community. It sends the wrong message to the british public. We get accused of not integrating into british society. With comments like Jack Straw, it doesn't exactly help us feel any more secure about integrating.

Heretic! - Blashphemy Laws and the Killing of Salmaan Taseer

Salmaan Taseer was a Pakistani businessman and politician who served as the governer of the province of Punjab from 2008 until his assassination in early 2011.

In an interview with Meher Bukhair on TV, Taseer commented on his view about the country's blasphemy law and on filing a mercy petition for Asia Bibi who has been sentenced to death by a court under the Blasphemy Law.

On January 4, 2011, one of Taseer's bodyguards, Malik Mumtaz Qadri, shot him 26 times with a gun at Kohsar Market. Eight hours before his assassination, he tweeted an Urdu couplet: "My resolve is so strong that I do not fear the flames from without, I fear only the radiance of the flowers, that it might burn my garden down."

In typical pakistani fashion. After his assassination, protests erupted in different parts of Punjab. Protestors also burned tyres and blocked traffic in Lahore.You have no sewage, no electricity and mass inflation, poorest of people, corruption in Pakistan. Yet you protest blashphemy laws? If you believed in true Jihad(struggle) then you would try to alleviate the real problems!!

The next day, thousands turned up for his funeral in Lahore inspite of denunciations by some clerics and religious scholars from mourning Taseer, while the Jamaat Ahle Sunnat threatened mourners with the same fate as that of Taseer.

Now, I'm impartial about my personal feelings for this man. I didn't even hear of him until he died. But what I am protesting is his death or should I say execution.

What is sad that within Islam, mainstream islam there does exist a law that any insult of the beloved Prophet(peace be upon him) should be put on the death penalty. How paradoxically contradictory is that if we go by priniciple of the Prophet?

As someone called me an heretic for having this opinion because according to my opinion I automatically know more than the imams and other learned men. I did not say that nor do I think that, it is merely an opinion.

The Prophet taught us islam is balance.Balance of the inner and outer world.Patience being the inn...er,Akhlaq being the outer.Therefore,we're supposed to be on a higher moral ground.Satan tempts us to get angry and react. We shouldn't react. But we do. If someone insults your mother the easy option is to get angry. It's harder to keep quiet and rise above it.Similarly,there is nothing noble in calling for the death of someone who has insulted the beloved Prophet.It is more noble to ignore that person.Satan wants you to draw attention around that scenario.Don't give him a pulpit.Unfortunately that's exactly what we've done.We've fallen into the hands of hate. There's nothing noble about calling for the death of someone.If Allah is great. Then let him be great and deal with the wrongdoers. Don't undermine his greatness by thinking you're doing a good deed." In short I'm saying that if you respect the Prophet then don't undermine his legacy by acting unlike him.

The 'ground zero' mosque

I am compelled to write this because so much disinformation has been spewed by the American right or 'tea party movement' that I have had to right a few wrongs? Get it? Nevermind.

Anyway, first of all it's not a mosque. It's a community centre. With a cookery school, basketball activities and such like. Only a small space is left for prayer.

Secondly, it's barely visible, it hasn't got a large religious symbol like a minaret or sand castle. It looks like a normal building. See pic. Unlike the world trade center which had islamic principles in its architecture. Seriously, you can't make this up.

Thirdly, they already compromised. They got rid of the word 'islamic' in the title and renamed it a hip sounding 'Park 51'.

Fourthly, there already exists a mosque at 'ground zero'. It's been there for 40 years. Kind of missed that didn't you Pam Geller...Idiot. Also, let's not forget the mosque that existed at the world trade center on the 17th floor. Damn muslims, buidling their insensitive mosques everwhere! There's nothing insensitive about strip clubs at ground zero right? That wouldn't be insulting to 'hallowed ground'. Hallowed ground indeed, WTC was built on muslim graves. Like I said you can't make it up.

Am missing something else on the above, as I like to call it, STFU(shut the f up) Posts.Oh yes, America the great land of freedom of speech. Kind of seems like the louder you are the more freedom you're entitled to. This story has caught fire for the wrong reasons.

You know, it's okay to spill hate speech about muslims, but not black people or anyone else, because we've progressed. Have we really? When did it become okay to pick on a community of people who are not at war with you. Well, that's what Obama woud have you believe?
However, I am inclined to believe due to the evidence at hand in the last few weeks that some right wingers want a war with Islam. When will this madness end.

Lest I forget, I just got a text from some idiot salafi or just an idiot muslim(there are many of us) saying react to some youtube video of quran burning at ground zero. I corrected him and scolded him for spreading lies. Apparently, it's his duty as a muslim to spread the truth against the shaytan. Now, where were you speaking out against Darfur? Or Saudi atrocities? Where? Silent. Seriously muslims, speak up for the right things.

The Quran Burner

Muslims seem to be getting it up the bum right? The Quran Burner, Pastor Terry 'tache' Jones(above) has caused controversy by what was a plan to burn the holy book of the muslims. He earlier claimed 'islam was from the devil'. Later when the Quran burning was cancelled the soundbite changed dramatically to 'I just wanted to highlight that there is an extreme element in Islam' Smells like bullshit Pastor TJ. The uproar that followed was the typical response from the media but worse still you would think that muslims have cottoned on to the cunning media after the cartoons of the Prophet and the constant picking on of muslims all over the media. You know stuff like, 'muslims are hurt by christians celebrating christmas!!' 24 hours of radio debates and media spotlight only one thing is always learnt 'muslims are crazy'. No we're not crazy, we uneducated and fiery for the wrong reasons. Allow me to explain.

You have Pastor Jones = crazy
Then you have about 10% muslims population = crazy
You get NUTTERS! Who likes nutters? The TV.
What happens when you mix them together? All sort of crazy fun for the media. We cannot succumb to the will of the manipulative media. How can you react to exactly to what the media want you to react to? Stop being pawns. Also how can you react to crazy people. There's nothing noble or even brave about speaking out against it! We've got enough problems of our own than to worry about some idiots in Florida. It's not like muslims don't have a lack of people who are bigger idiots. Don't hear you speaking out against them? If we solve our problems first, perhaps 'the evil west' will stop trying to solve them for us.

As a good friend of mine said,
'Without a doubt, the church leader is *counting* on the reaction. He's *counting* on press coverage. How else would his relatively small flock get attention?
The press *wants* people to react because it makes a good story. The best way to marginalize this pastor is to ignore him - the attention gives him and his hateful message power. Who benefits more from protesting this with vehemence? The pastor: He can remain calm, even crazy, while opponents get - and show they are - flustered.
Ignoring him would be the best way to deny him "power".'

In Short,there are too many muslims in and around europe for us muslims to equate ourselves to the jewish suffering in europe. We won't be having any pogroms yet. When and if we do, I will be the first to fight. But until then, just keep quiet and let the nutters get on with it.

So, we ignore people like Robert Spencer, Pam Geller and Pastor TJ Hooker. Why? Cos they have no grasp of reality whatsoever.

Our religion as muslims teaches us that morals and manners are the reasons for creation and our time on earth. Therefore our biggest jihad is to ignore. After all it's easy to react and fight. The lowest and most base reaction is of following the ego. The highest is to rise above it and walk away. The Prophet always taught us the higher moral ground is the best way, 'aql' or reason is the best way. Aql(reason) dictates that we ignore this crazy fool. We cannot make this mouse a man. Unfortunately we've made him a hero to many americans by pandering to his very needs.

Mosque write up coming soon.
